Hello, I'm Pete. Thanks for visiting!

I considered doing another epic mega-long song this year, but I think I'm just gonna try and do normal length songs in an attempt to finish of another album using my favourite unused songs from previous years. I've been listening to a bunch of Battles lately so I'll probably try and incorporate some mathy sonic wonkiness into my usual jangly indie pop. My last couple of albums leaned into conventional rock slightly more, so I'm looking to go slightly more eclectic this year, but at the same time it would be nice to have some new stuff I can actually pull off live (I've been playing more gigs than ever lately) so striking that balance between hooky and adventurous will be my goal.
