Last year somebody said to me that I should write in Japanese cos I was in Japan (I don't know if they say the same thing to all the Japanese bands who sing in English). At the time I replied that it was hard enough writing in English, but it has been a goal of mine for a while to do so. I worried that my rudimentary-at-best grasp of the language was a surefire way to come up with cringily bad lyrics, but now we have tools! You know of what tools I speak, many of you hate such tools, but I have utilised them here because they know Kansai-ben far better than I do. I wrote these lyrics in English, ran them through the electronic overlord, passed them to the wife to sign off on them and then did my best to crowbar unrhyming and overly syllabic phrases into the mathiest music I've written this year as best I could.

The title roughly translates as "You're Pulling Me All Over the Place".

As usual, these are mostly first takes. Once I've cemented the phrasing and melodies more I'll do another take to get them right, but I'm falling yet further behind schedule so we must move on. Got yet another gig on Saturday (woot!) which means another day off without heavy FAWMing.
