1st March update: A pretty successful FAWM for me this year. I went in wanting some songs I could, with a little polish, release this year and I think I've achieved that (I think I'm going to release under the name Haunted Machine, unless I think of something better). My workflow has been way quicker than in previous years but I do feel I've been a bit "in my own head" as far as the community aspects of FAWM. I've not been as good at keeping up with commenting as I usually am and I've barely been active on the forums. I'll therefore be sticking around until the bitter end to catch-up on listening #MALM

Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen to and comment on my songs. I'll make sure every comment I received is reciprocated in the next few days (if I haven't already!).

Back once again for the renegade master/my 16th FAWM (delete as applicable).

I go by chewmeupspitmeout on Nur Ein/Spintunes/PRF Tribute and I used to release stuff as The Serviettes.

I'm planning on pulling my finger out and actually releasing something new this year (utilising an amazing and unique band name, which I haven't thought of yet).

I’ve got a couple of new bits of gear to play with: a Behringer WASP DELUXE (to make some fun analog bloop bleep noises), a Korg Volca Beats and a couple o’ new pedals.

Most importantly, I stopped being a skinflint and actually bought a copy of EZDrummer, so I can use my edrumkit without resorting to the substandard free VSTs I’d been using.

Been listening to: John Barry, Gwenno, Lalo Schiffrin, La Luz, Jacques Brel, Johnny Dorelli, Helen Ganya, Serge Gainsbourg, Jonathan Bree, Alexandra Savior, Ex:Re, Scott Walker, Perfume Genius, Françoise Hardy, Salvator Dragatto, Klaus Morlock, Portishead, Michel Colombier, Adrian Quesada, Mulatu Astatke, psych, surf, 60s italian pop, yé-yé, tropicalia, hauntology, library music blah blah blah
