Liner Notes

Hopefully this link works. There is a bible verse that talks about the Holy Spirit groaning or sighing representing inexpressible intercession for us to God when we can’t find the words. I think this FAWM for me may be largely instrumental in a similar vein. Lyrically I have no shortage of things to say but feel like we are in a time when much falls on deaf ears if it doesn’t fit so to speak. So maybe this should just be called groaning number 1?

First off, I LOVE that room setup! And that is some mighty fine guitar jam you are making! Love it!

Dude, you can play guitar! This grooves

Thanks Nadine hope you are doing well!

That’s some funky riffing there! I dig it. And yes, I relate to the groaning of the Holy Spirit when words fail. That wah wah is inspiring me. Keep it up, man.

Thank you appreciate it!

Some cool riffs in there. Sometimes it just feels good to play what you're feeling.

[pic]

True that! Glad you liked

Great stuff! The long form bluesy flow feels very natural and unforced, like you are just letting the guitar speak. The wah coming in halfway adds a great lift and a lot of extra expression without breaking the mood. Loads of tasty licks throughout and a really soulful feel from start to finish.

Thank You! Glad it was listenable!

Cool vibe to the instrumental line. I appreciate the Romans 8 call out in the liner notes. Sometimes we do the work of the Spirit just by being faithful in doing what we do-- shining the light by who we are.

Thank you! We do try!

I love how you've reframed "groan" here both in your liner notes and musicality -- when I can't find the words I will think of this, which was really pleasing to listen to. Love the way you found the melody you wanted in your soloing.

Thank you!

Great, great playing. Not "groany" at all, in my opinion. Keep 'em coming! ❤️

Thanks Jerry!

Hey, Steve - thank you. I ended up scribble scrabble writing while I listened. Felt a little like an improv session with the Holy Ghost. I used to have a hard time with Paul, but I’ve been growing into him.

[pic]

Awesome Well I can't compete with the Holy Ghost but if I had any part in ushering I will take it!

Some tasty licks happening right here! Great playing 🤘🔥🔥🔥

Thank you! Appreciate it

Great guitar playing. This kind of jamming works really well in video format. Keep em coming!

[pic]

Thank you fun for sure!

[pic]

Neat guitar work and it looks like you're being Marshalled by your amps to keep the groove strong!

[pic]

Thank you!

[pic]

Aw man, that's groovy!

[pic]

Glad you got groovy! Thanks!

Quality work! Love the video format too. I think sounds can speak our hearts better than words do.

[pic]

Thank you glad you enjoyed!

that was a nine minutes well spent watching and listening to your contemplative jammin. nice work with the wah wah as well as the straight tones. could you tell me the book, chapter and verse of that scripture you referred to in your liner notes. i am not familiar with it. my guess it is something from the pauline epistles.

Romans 8:26-27 New International Version

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Yup Paul. Thanks am glad you lasted for 9 minutes!

Nice work! I really identify with the sentiment -- and you've clearly found ways to make your guitar do the talking for you... I wasn't familiar with that bible verse, but I'm going to have to dig deeper into that idea. Powerful stuff!

[pic]

Thanks! Hopefully it has more to say Lol!

@sbs

Yeah, I hear you. I call on that one a lot. Let the music speak. The guitar is really sweet. And I love the beat. And no, I didn't mean to rhyme. :)

Thank you! Much appreciated.
