So, I spent all day yesterday beating my head against Logic, trying to make a song behave within it...and I didn't even make it to the bridge. And I kinda hate how it is coming out. (I mean I like the song, I just don't like what Logic (OK, me) is doing to it.)

A bit frustrated, as I woke, thinking I had to head back to it.. Until I realized I didn't have to, at least not immediately.

I don't know about you, but FAWM tends to make my To Do List get a bit longer - I was thinking about that, and the things I "miss" because of it, the things I gain from it, and the folks that help me through it all, and this spilled out. Kind of skirmish-y - an early AM #acousticonetake , perhaps #funny , but, inspired by FAWMer jeremykazoo , I carved out a spot for a #kazoo solo.

I know you'll understand this little palate cleanser of mine...

Taking this as a sign that it's okay to shirk the laundry for one more day because these drums aren't going to play themselves. I'm just sad for the non-fawmers who can't appreciate how brilliant this is, while they walk around their clean well-stocked kitchens. What fools!

Laughing in recognition as I listen. You SAID it, man. "The cupboard's getting bare / But this song don't seem to care" could be a line straight out of a 1930s blues. And the kazoo solo put the biggest grin on my face :D

Really is a relatable topic among this crew! So glad I saw the kazoo on the desk (it wasn't initially in the plan, but this why FAWM Flexibility is important!)

This song is an absolute delight to listen to. It's super catchy and clever, you sound like you are having a lot of fun with this which just made it all the better to listen to. That kazoo at the end put a huge grin on my face, very nice work!

You got me laughing at "yelling at Logic"! Is that ironic that I listened to your song while loading the dishwasher? Take good care of your wife, when FAWM's over. The kazoo outro has just the perfect laid back "I don't give a shit" tone.

My house is already in shambles, there are basically no groceries left, and I'm missing all the televised sporting events. But yeah I don't care. My husband is doing FAWM too so we are screwed! This was a perfect little anthem to describe what's happening FAWM-wide, including pulling out the dusty kazoo

I'm cracking up over here!!! You're singing for all of us here brother!!! I walk a delicate balance with my wife during FAWM...I made damn sure to fix the dishwasher hookup to the sink yesterday before hiding in my studio. 😆 And OMG that kazoo!!!! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!! This should be our theme song from now on! Bloody brilliant!

BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA!!!!!! This is GENIUS. And yes. Allllll of this. I had a bf last year and even though I reined it in on the weekends and tried to knock out a song or two in the mornings while he slept in or if he worked overtime I would do it then (kept the evenings for just us), when we broke up he told me my obsession with FAWM last Feb drove him crazy even though he joined in and posted a few songs and we even cowrote one. He had no idea what a sacrifice I was already making lol. FAWM is a litmus test for a relationship and your wife passes!

Anyway I FREAKING LOVE THIS. Bookmarking so I can giggle more later.
