hi! i started FAWM. with some friends, namely @ericdistad and @fireball. and still organize it 23 years later. thanks for being a part of this musical experiment.

i've been gradually manifesting a preference for 4-stringed instruments and might try a whole FAWM with just ukuleles, mandolins, bass, and tenor guitar/banjo. well, those plus keyboards, drum machines, and various percussion. 😄

science nerd + pop music junkie who grew up in the bluegrass, went to school in the tundra, and now i live in steeltown. i've been in bands in all of those places.

in case you're wondering, i really do have a phd in artificial intelligence. in fact, i created FAWM as a way to "productively procrastinate" in my studies.

Wow. I am so glad that the darkest, noisiest bit of FAWM, with the best beer and the stickiest floor, inspired these three songs. It probably proves something about what comfort zones are (and aren't), and that wherever you go you take your musical self with you... these songs were just a delight to listen to. Hello, ty for creating!! I really didn’t know what I was doing or getting myself into… the first time that I did FASM. Never wrote official lyrics before that but tried once. I collaborated with wonderful Musically inclined talented Artists & was very happy hearing the results that happened; after a few years off I’m on again!! Looking forward to collaborating!!
