thank you for your comments on i accuse. i had been reading tolstoi's confesssions and was moved to chart the evolution of the accusation of others to self accusation and finally universal redemption through love, always struggling with the difficulty of loving those who hate you as well as those you intrinsically despise. i dont know how successful i was, but i like the ending, which contains the purpose of the song..to lead the narrative to the revelation that love is the whole of the law.

thank you for all your lovely and thoughtful comments. i was particularly struck by the things you said in your comments on "kingdom come" about the joys of playing live. my last live performance was in october of 2012, two days before i left the states for peru, where i spent the next 14 years, and have been back in the states since the death of my wife two and a half years ago. there are no place here in naples, florida that sound like the one you describ in your comment, but i had the pleasure of playing in several such places in both seattle and boston. i have been enjoying all your music this september and hope to hear much more come february.
