A #nerdfolk #ukulele song about a thing I sometimes do. The chorus is inspired by that greatest of philosophers, Eccles from The Goon Show.

If you listen carefully, that low sound at the end which was totally planned is my washing machine on spin cycle.

Absolutely delightful. I encourage people living in Toronto to get off at random subway stations and wander a different neighbourhood. Spot something your neighbourhood could adopt - like a fanciful painted overpass - or find a special bakery treat. And a perfect answer for busybodies. I had to look up cheeky half.

Lovely song, and broadening the vocals with unison voices on the chorus was a superb choice. (I guess that's why it's called a chorus...) This reminds me of my son who lives south of the river in London, and not owning a car, has been all over the London and wherever the tube or trains can take him. Nicely done!

What a delightful song! I kept waiting for the nerd part to payoff, and while it never came I was fully entertained and enjoying myself.

Love the melody! The idea of doing something just to be doing it is refreshing, perhaps even subversive.

A jaunty song to sing as you walk down the road less travelled in order to find the path not taken. It's lovely to hear that dear Spike is still inspiring things.

And oh man, imagine if negative capos were a real thing. How would the physics even work?

Such a sweet song! I love the texture of the doubled vocals in the chorus! And in the bridge -- secondary dominant for the win! I knew I could count on you! The sentiment in the lyrics is the carefree, unbothered attitude that is the opposite of me; I feel inspired to get up and go somewhere...
