this started as a discord jam a few weeks ago where we built the track up. i went through today and mixed and added some fx with the kaoss pad. love these guys. we're currently arranging the MM album MYSTERIOUS MACHINE and it should be out SOOON.

How cool, I didn't know discord jams were a thing! I like the easy (I think) end-of-summer feel of this. I like the little robot voices, and how all sorts of diffferent instruments/synths have their own times to shine. Interesting reversed sounds about 3/4 through. Really nice work all!

WOW! Awesome supergroup here, so eclectic but still cohesive! I love the synths that come in around 1:22. Absolutely getting the spacefunk feel.

i'm intrigued with the concept of a discord jam. how does that work? this is cool. this is groovy and fun.

Usually one of us will drop a 4-8 bar drum beat, then someone will come up with some chords or a riff. We just email WAV files back and forth while on a voice call then I (typically) start doing a general arrangement and we all add/swap out parts until we have something. Usually finalize a mix on another day. Jams are usually 2-4 hours with time to chat and kick around ideas and I usually get too stoned on the jazz cigarettes.

I appreciated the sound of the track just diving for my ears like that. Great aural layers, deftly arranged. I like how the percussion ebbs and flows, and that guitar line that comes in before shifting into a synthscape. Really nice!

Bleep-bloopy, with the pads blowing at the back of my dancing shoes like strong breezes, guiding them to heel-toe, and then in come the wobbly-wibblies! Whee!
