Poignant and heartfelt. The way the piano sits in the middle distance is a powerful way of conveying the way that grief can shut us off from everything else around us. Lovely composition, Nadia!

The bass notes carry the grief in an unending manner, while the treble deals with the story behind it in a progression of woe.
