Not much to say on this one; it's been taking too long, but I'm glad I got it right. Wrote it for my #LARP next month (the Earth had to hide underground from radiation due to a magnetic inversion), but really, it's a #lovesong that hits far too close to the mark in real life as well.

In the morning sun, the clouds would shine like cotton, Turning silver as they raced before the storm. You and I would laugh and dance among the puddles, Then share a blanket through the night to keep us warm.

In the sunset, we would gather springtime berries, Fingers stinging from the thorns and stained to blue. Evening brought the scent of honeysuckle flowers, As we kissed beneath the blessing of the moon.
