I have a #scifi #LARP coming up set on a far away planet - my first event with that group. I'll need music for my counselor character, so I'll be using this 5/9 sprint to add some songs to my repertoire. Also, I just got the first #guitar that actually feels right in my hands, so you'll probably be listening to some of my first recordings with it. My #baritoneukulele experience really, really helps with knowing the fingerings.

I use my voice, and either #piano, #flute, #mandolin, guitar, and baritone ukulele (occasionally #dulcimer) to create #folk and #filk songs with a lot of influence from #nature and my #queer identity - with a little Aikido, #Judaism, and rocket science thrown in. I often bring my songs to LARPs and Ren Faires to share them with others.

It's been a year since my wife and I fled to the Netherlands, just ahead of the shadow sweeping over the land we left behind. We've found safety and kindness here, and I have found new purpose at work. All of that will make it into my music, I hope.
