Beautiful clarity to the mix, despite the myriad sounds, you can still hear/sense every tambo shimmy and, er, shaker shake. Love the big band stabs; guitar picks (e.g. c1:20) and vocal treatments (resisting going to the soundtoys website!).

p.s That's a nice collection of band reminiscences you're triggering! For me, I'm off to the loft to see if I still have my Manu Di Bango vinyl (though I have nothing to play it on).

THE BRASS SECTION 🤩 this is so fun and funky! I’m on my morning run, but the soundtrack is random FAWM songs and I’m so glad that this one popped up! It’s got a great beat, such great production element. Raiding the percussion cabinet was a great idea! Loved the computer voice. Stellar work all around!

The groove is a mix of Kid Creole & the Coconuts and Zappa with some jazzier influences influences... ...and a bit of the Tubes thrown in. Very nice prod.

As always, in awe of what you can do with production within a FAWM setting. I'm ignorant of the current events referenced here, but I feel your rage. And like me, you attach dark humor to awful situations. Inspired, ambitious song!

What a happy groove! After the little horn intro that groove came as a surprise - a nice surprise. Killer production. The contrast in the "I wasn't listening" is such a nice touch. The treatment on the spoken word parts is fun to listen to. This track is so funky!!

Fabulous production here. Go big or go home! And a super backdrop to the necessary rant. Whenever I think about what’s going on in the world today, I just want to rant in a punk style song. And this line gets me as I’m constantly scratching my head - “But god forbid you protest Against people being killed”. Well Said.
