I wasn't going to do any more songs about AI because honestly I'm bored of hearing myself ranting about it, but then this came out this afternoon and it gets me on the scoreboard on day 1. I suppose you could call it a #shanty. It's definitely #ukulele #nerdfolk though.
I got the 8 string tenor uke out for this. A mandolin might have been better but I haven't practised that enough. There's probably hundreds of verses you could write for this...

Oh this is great! I can tell the refrain is going to be stuck in my head haha. And I think it sounds great with the ukulele, but if you need more mandolin practice this will be a great one for it, lots of nice easy open chords.

Rant on, good sir, rant on. I am so glad I escaped academia before LLMs arrived; it was bad enough when the kids cut and pasted the bulk of their assignments from blogs that I'd subscribed to. "You need to find the answer / but you haven't got a clue" really hits home...

it deserves a hundred verses. most sea shanties have unlimited numbers of them, but this is not a sea shanty, it is a pub shanty, and that means the drunks in the pub will supply new verses for as long as you allow it. fortunately you have a killer chorus that can sustain the damage done by any number of contributions from the peanut gallery,
