German Filker (not a musician). She/her. I wrote before that all my songs get the hashtag filk, no matter their genre, but I realized that I'm not really comfortable with that anymore, because it will confuse non-filkers. So instead I will use #filker, because like #singersongwriter that is always true. 💯
Most of my songs are in English, since I'm not a native speaker I welcome corrections.

I'm a bit confused by line in you bio saying you are not a musician, when you clearly are. Maybe this is a mistranslation? And do feel free to post in German. Not only are there other German-speaking FAWMers, but google translate is just a click away.
No, it's not a mistranslation, it's my way of saying that I only make music as a filker for filkers and not in any other way. It takes the pressure off of me to actually be really good. While I think of myself as a good writer I know that I lack in playing my instruments and singing. If not for the filk community to be so welcoming I would not be here.
