The owner of the new farmers' market gives a prospective vendor a tour.

Lyrics

Welcome to the new farmers' market we have the best prices of any market cos we eliminate the middleman namely the human element

Here at booth one, "Bee Here Now" bumblebees make and jar their own honey and sell it to shoppers for cash money (for the masochists among you, they'll sting you for a small fee)

Make an orderly line, please "Bee here now," say the bees

At booth two, "Over the Moo" cows sell you bottles of their-couldn't-be- fresher milk, with a few specializing in cheeses of all kind

This way for milk that way for cheese and the cows say, "thank you, please"

At booth three, "Trees R Us," trees disgorge their fruit: apples, pears, anything else that grows on trees right into your shopping bags They're so successful they even opened another branch (pardon the pun)

"Come visit our other branch" all the trees chant

So, what do you think, sir? "Well, as a chunk of soil I'm sure I could offer up fresh root vegetables like potatoes and carrots put me down for a booth named "See you, Tater"

"Taters and carrots for sale" says the chunk of soil at the new farmers' market so get shopping

Ha! This is a little rock symphony! I love it how all those differents elements come in, how you rock! I‘m a bit lost with the lyrics … you saying much more then it‘s written down here, aren‘t you? Anyway - no need to know the meaning if it makes fun to listen!

@sbs

This is outstanding. I can picture it like watching a pre-movie cartoon at the drive-in - lol!

You are a master of many things: weird bass grooves, cool guitar, funny/strange lyrics. It's all on display here. I love how you always come up with a concept and then run it to ground. This rocks hard. It occurs to me that the Beastie Boys would have been a great backing band for you when you're making this kind of music

Descriptive and FUN lyrics! The percussion and guitar strumming stand on their own. Farmers markets have never gotten so much love!

EDIT: This is one of my favorites too!

Well, now THAT was some weird--but original--lyrics! Great job--and the music was terrific, too! ❤️

i love your bass-driven songs,,and the drums push things even harder. i also love the part animals plants and inanimate objects play in your songs, this one, with the bees, cows and trees selling their own products, is one of my favorites. lots of xxciting musical touches as well, with the melodica and especially the warped guitar.

Very creative and different. Enjoyed reading and listening.
