@miniwynia says: It all started at Costco. I saw bacon, then I asked my mom why our friend Ben's bacon was so good. And then my mom texted Ben to ask, and he said, "Me. I am the secret."

@wynia says: My dear child then started belting "He is the secreeeet, the secret to bacoooon" and thus the hook was born. On the car ride home, big sister M was a willing scribe for the verses. This may be somewhat of a diss track at me but I took one for my own team so that @miniwynia could make his first masterpiece

This is absolutely pure joy! What a truly wonderful collaboration and creation inspired by real life experience! My 8-year-old child (who happens to be friends with the songwriter) wanted to listen to this track non-stop, and we did indulge!… Because, good bacon and good music need to be enjoyed! (preferably together). I love everything about this, and my heart really stirs with the chorus and the bridge (Bravo!!) It’s so catchy. And I must say as someone who survived evangelicalism of the 90’s and 2000’s, this take on “In the Secret” makes the original version seem a little…flappy. One final note, you might consider sharing this with 88nine Radio Milwaukee and host Dori Zori. She often shares in the mornings what she calls “musical bacon” pop-songs that she enjoys indulging in. Great musical bacon here!

Oh, this is so much fun. I agree that microwaved bacon isn't real bacon. My mother cooked it that way for years. I still can't cook it perfectly but it's better than the microwave. This was great all the way through. Can't stop smiling!
