Renaturation

I thought I made up the title word, but it turns out it's real and means something different. Oh, well!

Lyrics

Nature is in bad shape and so is the human race now it's time to regenerate repopulate and renaturate

To bring back the cows I scattered roast beef in the fields for the pigs, the same, but with ham and bacon for the fish, I tossed three tins of sardines and a can of tuna into the river for the trees, I ground broccoli and parsley into the sidewalk

And to bring back human intelligence I scattered bits of the dictionary on the grass and in the street beautiful words sprung up all around me but no one was interested (they were all too dumb)

i really love this lyric - you could keep adding verses. I lov eteh whole concept and its classic TTG delivery i was about to say except no melodica and there she be!

I wish it would be that easy like it seems in the world of Paul Pennyfeather! I don‘t know anybody who combines Rock‘n Roll with the Melodica! Great!

Love the guitar!! And the last stanza says it all. Sadly. But, hey, we're here and making the best of things!

Interest concept and what a treat to learn a new word, just when we thought we knew them all. ;-) ❤️

I'm liking the straight-ahead rock 'n' rollishness of this. Great lyrics. If only it was that easy. Ooh, that changeup is pretty sweet. And of course the chord organ's gotta sneak in there too. It fits in here remarkably well! Nice one.

Ah, yes, please scatter that dictionary everywhere! Hurry! But you’re right. “The dumber I get, the richer I get.”

i hate it when i make up a word and then check to see if the word has a pre-existance, i discover it is a real word but has a meaning that does not fit the use i have put it to. on the pther hand, it is pretty cool when the made up word is real and means exactly what you want it to mean. i like the rock and roll music here, and the concept is fabulous, as are the examples. the one i liked best is "for the trees, I ground broccoli and parsley into the sidewalk" it's the sidewalk that makes that one stand out.

Great garage-rocking guitar there. Ha, I thought you might have some serious ideas for renaturation--but this is a ttg song. I hope your plan works. It made me laugh, at any rate. You're really letting it rip on the melodica!
