As She Beckons To Thee

Lyrics
As the waves crash Upon a distant shore So these candles flicker An omen of new beginnings And she turns away To face the storm Embracing future Rejecting fate's dark hand
One for the land One for the air The water beckons To the eternal pyre Love for the mountains Love for the sea Chaos rises As she beckons to thee
As the raven flies Over distant lands So these bonds break An omen of old endings And she turns back To face the sky Hand on heart She walks away
One for the land One for the air The water beckons To the eternal pyre Love for the mountains Love for the sea Chaos rises As she beckons to thee

Oh that starts so….pretty? I know what I’m getting into though! Yeah! This is really heavy and deep. I love your lyrics, as they match the intensity. Fantastic!
i want heavy come get me waiting waiting. Here we go chug chug, worth the wait. like the slower pace delivery at times . the drums are always great! less mayhem today but very good stuff when it flies out!
I love how some of your songs create an edgy false sense of security at the beginning and then all hell breaks loose (in the best possible way, of course). Those panned crunchy guitar chops and the soaring guitars are really quite gigantic together. Nice change-up at 5:15. Intense.
This is pretty damn gorgeous. My neck hurts. This made my morning egg cooking experience so much heavier. I love it.
I like when Sapient brings the heavy! Great tune. Nailed it as usual.
Heavy indeed! This is so satisfying to sink into.
I dig the atmosphere!
Those clean guitars + doom remind me of Esoteric, but this is chuggier, and... kind of more evil, maybe? :D Really digging the dark atmosphere, and how this one develops all the time. I'm thinking I'd try to make a funeral doom song again this year, but we'll see!
who says heavy cant be beautiful? the music is a tsunami and your voice is that of a sea god. and it all comes to a watery end.
Love it. Is that a flute VST? Some great riffs / leadwork going on here. I wonder what it would sound like speeded up to a minute long - * downloads to try out this experiment * I'll report back :) j$
Oh, I can't WAIT to see what happens! Also, no flutes were hamed in the making of this tune...
Oh so is that a keyboard at the beginning and re-emergence throughout? It's a really nice tone j$
Wait, this isn't heavy what are you talking about? It's just some clean arpeggios and oh wait... here it comes... Ok that's a cool contrast between the clean and heavy sections. But there is somehow something restrained about the the heavy sections. Interesting fade out!
