written for the lullaby prompt! this is the origin story for the successful businessman whose every move is puppeteered by an eldritch entity

Lyrics

you'll have all of the money you'll need and more all of the money you'll need won't be digging through trash in the back of the store won't be crying yourself to sleep

you'll be bigger than all of the rest, my friend bigger than all of the rest you'll live with reckless abandon, you'll sleep in a mansion with all of the big wigs you'll break your bread

there's a rotary phone that i found and the man on the end has a simple request if i let the man puppeteer me around lead me on by a phone cord strung tight round my neck i know this will bring me success, my friend i know this will bring me success

ugh i am obsessed with your voice, it scratches my brain in a way i haven't heard! i love this song, the cadence, the rises and falls of it. the lyrics are great as well and the instrumentation is a perfect touch. well done!

Cool take on the prompt. Great lyrics lead me by a phone cord strung tight round my neck is a lyric that just sings. Prosody on point, fantastic write, skirmish or no. Really well done.

Thank you!!! I've written a few other songs about this guy, but not with the framework of a full cohesive story. If I come up with a few more plot points then maybe I can write a concept album for him!

Wow, one of my favorite melodies of FAWM so far. It starts in an unexpected place but is still catchy and charming. Gorgeous! I also definitely dig the off-kilter lyrics. They scan so well. Awesome write.

I love the unique take for this one! I guess people of all walks of life need a lullaby that suits them. Great changes here, and great performance all around!
