Lyrics

Some call it justice Some feign equality Laws make them act like There's no animosity They go on life like With no real empathy I call it just us It's not for you and me

Some call it justice Some say just for me Some like to pretend They live in a democracy They go on life like With no real destiny I call it just us It's not for you and me

Here's what I see:

You cough up what your feed Has told you is true White washed commercials With gentrified views Built on the laws That your racists approved Then banning the teachers From teaching the truth

Justice is just us Just us is...

They call her justice Her blindfold cannot lie But she tilts her head back And peeks out with one eye They make the laws So that they have alibis I call it just us It's not yours or mine

It just hides their lies:

You used slaves To build your universities While trying to keep them From learning to read Then after forced at gunpoint To set them free You still suppress votes And harass with police

Justice is just us Justice is...

I think this is a strong lyric with a solid message. I especially like the way this flows:

Some call it justice Some say just for me Some like to pretend They live in a democracy

Great collab — melody is tight and appealing, nice rhythmic backing.

This has a 70s vibe to it with a modern feel. Well recorded and produced song!

I like the wordplay this is based on, because, well, that's so true isn't it? Very well put together.
