Thanks for your comment. Clarity in a mix is based on eq. Each instrument has it own spot on an eq. Guitar cut low (0-50) boost about 200hz, cut 300hz and cut all high fr. Bass cut 0-50, boost 300-1000hz, cut all high hz and so on. Its all about listening and you can also look the soundwaves.
