I'm sure I'm ripping off several dozen Beatles songs with this one, but it was banging on my brain and wouldn't stop until I got it out. Besides, I always love an excuse to write a love song. This one is loosely based on the idea that sometimes you just... know.
Instrumentation: Taylor GS Mini Kala Tenor Ukulele UBASS Journeyman My janky fake drumset Lots of vocals
Lyrics
Look at how you love me Better every day When I think about it There’s so much I could say to you
Been around forever Never thought you’d stay Thought we were so clever But even yesterday I knew
You can’t argue with the stars They’re set in the celestial plane We’re as constant as the sun As unrelenting as the rain
I knew that I loved you Many years ago But when I’d want to tell you That I loved you so You’d say I know, I know, I know

I'll take a thousand of these, I don't care how much you might be ripping off (more like channeling effectively) the Beatles. They're one of the GOATS of course! I love your doubled vocals in the verse. The idea of arguing with stars is so poetic. Great listen!
Oh yes, a little Beatles influence (but don't we all do that sometimes?) - the doubled vocal and 'ahhs' and 'I know's and some of the chord changes, but its original to you!
So sweet! No such thing as "ripping off" a genre ... you're adding a lovely song to it! If I worried about copying a genre I'd never write another 12-bar blues ...
Ooooh the cords are sooo tasty! Loved it.
Great vibe. Although you are borrowing from a genre, I think there’s a freshness here. The instrumentation and the colours are authentic. Great arrangement and delivery.
So sweet❤️I love you guys❤️❤️
Reminds me of "Beauty School Dropout" from "Grease" - super cool harmonies! Love this!
Carley, this is outstanding. Those harmonies are exquisite. It really does have that Beatles vibe, doesn't it? More Harrison than Lennon and McCartney, to my mind. George was the best.
This is just so lovely and i love the bridge and the extra "Ah" vocals on the last line is perfect. It does have a nostalgic vibe to it, but it's so nice to listen to, it's really timeless in its appeal.
Perfectly lovely tune , relatable, and sing-a-long-able.
This reminds me of early Beatles. A lovely song with fine vocals. I'll pop back to follow your FAWM progress.
Carley, you have all the chops to write and sing such songs. No idea how you make it sound oldschool. Soooo great!
I love the double track vocals. I've always wanted to do that. It just has such a cool effect. Love the little details like the harmonies in the oohs and ahha and the tambourine. Really cute. Well done!
Although it has a Beatles-esque vibe I don’t think it is ripped off at all. The vocals are lovely and the levels in your mix are perfect. This is superbly written and performed. This is definitely one to be proud of.
Definitely channeling circa 64 beatles No point did I thank you that's a direct lift of one song or another. As Lennon said amateurs borrow professional steal.
I think it's interesting knowing your appreciation for McCartney that this sounds more Lennonesque.
