First song ... okay, let's call it poem for now ... this FAWM.

Too late here to try for music. Very happy if someone wants it. I'm not happy with the title. Edit: I changed the title to @unownedart's suggestion.

Music of the Seasons

You rejoice when the first flowers show you sing to the birds' hopeful trilling you quieten the lament of Winter so you can hear the ode of Spring

You laugh as you bath in the sun you dance through blooming meadows you exult when Spring's choral wanes and becomes Summer's symphony

You celebrate when the leaves turn golden you play with the rain and the wind you dare the elegy of Summer tunes to march to Autumn's melody

You embrace the cold with mirth you smile making snowballs and angels your warmth turns Autumn's dirge into a calm Winter serenade

With every turn of the season you let go and welcome the new Music shadows your every step as eternal lasting as you

Very thoughtful comments on the sounds of the seasons! Especially kike that you dre the elegy to march! And yes, you could turn the last verse into a chorus. Since only it rhymes, it has to be structurally and musically different anyway.

This is so beautiful-a celebration of seasons and their changes with poetry. It feels like a message annd perspective shift important for mental health especially during times of change.

Thanks for your generous words on my quick take of Lament of Spring this skirmish. Not exactly an Ode but....Your take is much closer to the heart of the matter although incorporating all four seasons

I wonder who the "you" is but love that we don't know. The parallel structure across the verses with each line saying a similar but different thing is so neat! Really well done!

I like how you've woven in all of the seasons here. Congratulations on your first song of FAWM! If you want to write a chorus you might get a title out of that (but no pressure). :)

Thanks for the comment. I'm not sure a chorus would help with the title problem as I would probably just use the last verse as one.
