Skirmish: Ode to Spring (@ajna1960)

1 hour really slips away from you. For this one, the idea was to put some elements of the season into the mix and make it more bouncy, not sure it went that well.

Oh, I want to go out and skip through a forest or over a meadow. How inspiring.

K this is the song I wish I made for this skirmish! šŸ˜† Funky bassline and joyful as hell. Love the bird sounds! I’m happy knowing this exists.

Ahhhh this is delightful and so cuteeeee! Birds!!! šŸ•ŠļøšŸ„šŸ¦œ Just sitting here bouncing on a chair feeling like I can do anything. It almost feels like video game music where the main character is just bopping around in a cool world they're visiting for the first time.

Ooh, love all these layers! I am enjoying listening with a smile on my face. I do feel like there's bounce there, and the birdsong is sweet. I like it when the deeper tones come in, too. Spring can be showers and mud, as well as light. But also that can be the buzzy bumble bee!

Very cool! The nature elements really work with the track so well. It gives me the feeling of a springtime walk in the countryside, taking in all the sights and sounds, in awe of everything around. An overall happy and excited feeling. It also feels like it could be a part of a series using this same musical palette. Kind of like one part within a larger piece - like the Vivaldi Ode to Spring. Nice work!

Oh my!! this is SO fun! I love a FAWM track that makes me laugh out loud when the them comes in. This is clever and lovely (all those nature sounds) and absolutely captures the feeling of spring arriving. Given how right this would sound in the right film context, I don't think "cinematic" is too strong a word. AND, I love the panning of the kit at the open and close, and that bass line that finishes things out. Most excellent all around.
