The Sloth Wakes in Spring
Skirmish: Erstelle einen Song mit e... (@lemonbrew)Liner Notes
This came from @lemonbrew 's skirmish prompt, which was quite the challenge...
Essentially, to create a 90 second song with no repeated chord progressions.
I have always always wanted to try and do "Slothcore" and I enjoy making animal themed songs, so this 27 bpm instrumental is what I came up with this morning.
Time for a coffee so I can speed up and not be a sloth myself, today.
It is not perfect but it was relaxing to do, thanks for listening and thanks for the skirmish prompt this fine Saturday morning in Spain.

This is cool! It reminds me of something that could loop while waiting on hold, in a good way.
Was für eine Coole Idee, ich glaube ich mache heute auch nur noch ganz langsam. Du hast genau meine Faulheit und meinen Geschmack getroffen. Tolle Akkorde.
Ha! My daughter absolutely loves sloths. I mean...who couldn't??! Coffee is a must! I feel ya! I really enjoyed this and can hear it to the background in a movie. Definitely hope you do something with it post-FAWM!
This feels like the dawn of a new age. This could be big for me 😆. Probably my favorite song with a slothcore tag thus far
So long "Thus Spake Zarathustra" -there's a new kid on the block!!! Though he's not exactly hurrying to fill your boots.
Seriously though, I love the build up in this and that last chord is magnificent in context.
Nice slow relaxing orchestrated sloth. I like the calm energy from orchestra and the ending gradation.
What a graceful sloth, stretching and greeting the morning!
I like the relaxing vibe. Very beautiful bass sound
My second sloth listen (mine is 90% finished as well) very soundtracky! Has an ocean feel , waves a rolling! Nice
Very nice. Reminds me of the PS3 start-up sound, and has duly walloped me with a hefty hit of nostalgia that I was not expecting this morning.
Thanks for you good thoughts on my "ICE Anger" protest songs. I not satisfied with them yet, so still work to do. I Like your take on Sloth Wakes in Spring. As Japanese poet says, to write a poem about a Pine tree, you must be a Pine tree. I guess you became a sloth for a while to write how one feels upon awaking in spring
