Hi

My name is Janele Arlene. I’m a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. I write a blend of styles and genres. It’s very hard for me to put my sound in a box and follow a formula for a specific genre, so I prefer not to label it as a whole. It changes depending on my mood. If I had to describe it, I’m somewhat of mix between a sassy 90’s and early 2000’s alternative singer-songwriter mixed with a soul singer from the 60’s and 70’s. My guitar playing is very rhythmic, I don’t do a lot of lead work but if anyone feels inclined to collab and add some lead licks on my demos, feel free! However, writing collabs aren’t my thing, I prefer to write alone, that’s my comfort zone. This is my THIRD year as a part of the FAWM community, and I’m really excited to get this creativity flowing and to be inspired by all of you!!!
