This was inspired by the AI thread in the forums. When this topic came up last year, I was of the opinion that AI was kind of stupid and pointless. Now I hate it with a fiery passion. Mainly because so many of its users are utterly insufferable on social media.

Some great lines in this, but "personal digital latrine" is a standout. Cool main guitar riff, it's minor key but in a kind of ironic britpop way rather than melancholy, which I think suits the mood of the song. I did consider getting ai to write this comment for me, it may have given you something more substantial than my nonsense.

YES TO ALL! Such a bummer many people don't understand the impact on the climate and labour market. I like these jangle gutiars and it's awesome to sing along. Can't believe my anti AI song is already 3 years old...

And you made it so catchy I couldn't help but sing along, the slow pace made me think of pairing 'rational' delivery (unemotional, because tech bros can't deal with them) with rage and I love it! This song is so thorough, and that line "they're the place where good taste goes to die" Ah, so good!

Great encapsulation - the change from verse to chorus and its delightful F bombs is the way. And the part that I dwell on in my mind, you have concisely woven into "but your not finding landmines or sorting data sets just stealing from creatives and bragging on Threads"

This has got to be my favorite line: “predictive text machine/your personal digital latrine”. I’m nodding along with you, some people seem to think this AI will be the next Industrial Revolution. I truly think it’s more of a devolution making us stupider. On the musical aspect, this is also a nice listen - I especially like the choice of solo electric for the main accompaniment. Glad I got to listen to this, thanks for writing it!

All the solidarity on this. Not a jot of a quibble about anything in the lyrics. And musically it's a great tune. Don't know what that second chord in the main riff is but it's frickin GREAT! Little bit Andy Partridge, little bit Billy Bragg, all @sailingmagpie. Love it, man.

I wonder how it will feel to look back in years to come on the year FAWM was really angry, it feels immensely cathartic to be surrounded by all this righteous rage about things I’ve just had to bear until now. I haven’t done an AI diss track yet but I’m sure it’s coming. You got a lot of it down. Can’t think of a song you’ve done that swore this much. I’m enjoying it. Great work bud.

Wow, this is great! Clear, concise, musically expansive and inspired and well done! I’m probably largely in agreement with you, but I’d rather just listen to the song then start to get into little nit pics about this and that re -AI -to be honest I haven’t really thought about the issue that much! “The place where good taste goes to die “ is such a great line.!
