Great song - the rhythm as the main instrumentation and it seems it’s a one chord song - very powerful. Nice job!

That's a good song. In an odd way I find it hopeful. I guess the recognition there's a problem, and the bridge...the offered remedy. Maybe I'm wrong. Still fun to hear and ponder. Thx!

You've named how that individual pain turns into something truly frightening in the verses after the chorus, "a predator joins those of his kind". That pack mentality is what we're up against now. man is the king of beasts. we must value the hearts and words of those who stray from the vicious flock. i have seen scenes like this all across the country and throughout every decade. thankfully, there are always pure voices of truth to drown out the bloody roars of the predators.

That first stanza hits hard -- and you develop the idea so well. The melody feels like a mournful cry. I especially like "try to believe this won't break us."

I am glad you got one recorded. Lovely vocal as usual. Strong lyric. I really like the last two lines of the chorus: "enact the greatest sins of the animal within" and the hopeful bridge.
