Definitely if you have some ideas that’s cool… I did go through and listen to your songs and the protest bent of which I embrace and that’s where things started. That’s where the ideas began percolating maybe it’s a combination.

I’m happy to break the fence on the typical Collab and shoot you my rough ideas and we could collaborate on lyrics…

I’d be happy to attempt laying down a bass line or background vocals… that might be a stretch Lmao!!! and I have no problem nixing them if they are wince inducing, and should be removed

what is the big matress? you got me thinking about those years in new england and these memories popped back. before the somerville theatre became a major concert venue, a group of us did concerts there every saturday afternoon. at wmfo, we produced tracy chapman's demo that she used to get a contract with elektra, harvard had a rule against producing rock concerts so some students devised a scheme in which they would elect a musician who had a special significance for harvard students. the first person so honored was elvis costello, and i held the mike for him as he accepted the red shoes trophy. some time later, i hung around nightstage after roger mcguinn's concert while elvis, mcguinn, and aimee mann jammed on a slew of dylan songs after closing. my final show before returning to seattle was opening for jim basnight's (dar williams ex boyfriend about whom she wrote a few memorable songs) CD release part at johnny d's. i could go on and on, but i am trying desperately to live in the present.
