4/5 Feb 2026 The Long Night. 10AM pickup at hotel (bags packed) for Egyptian Museum. % hours there, then late lunch, then airport at 4:25PM to catch 7:25PM flight home, arrive Adelaide 10PM but somehow there's 18 or 19 hours between 7:25 and 10PM... 2 Feb 2026 Rest day after the Last Temple this morning. Sitting in resort hotel overlooking the Nile at Aswan. Life is hard.

31 Jan 2026 In Egypt, on Lake Nasser right now, not back till Feb 6. Lo, I did this before in 2009 as I recall.

Personal: Deborah is holding her own with immunotherapy which will work until it doesn't. We chose not to swim in the Dead Sea in mid-winter but she became famous as the 9km through Petra with rollator woman. Egypt end to end.

I can't bring myself to shoot any spmmers yet, feeling generous!
