Attempted to do something in the style of Klone and became more "inspired by".
Lyrics
Was it Real
Who found the river The moonlit sky The surface clear What was the image The memory of what was done
All this time Long ago in some forgotten place Was it real The majesty, the violence I never want to dream of this again
Who was the dreamer The brightest soul And fortune rich Why did it happen The fog descended like a shroud

That super-low bass really sets the scene for this one. Can't say I'm familiar with Klone either, but they must be cool if they can inspire something as full of proggy goodness as this. Production hits epic levels, too. Splendid stuff!
Ooh love these vocals! Great vibe, great guitar playing. Can't say I've heard of Klone, but this is really cool.
Yeah, loving the “B” section. The contrast is fantastic between the verse and chorus. I hear some Tony Banks in the chorus. Great synth solo! Awesome shift in the harmonic progression.
I’ll have to look up Klone as this is a nice soundscape. I love the chord progression at “all this time…” The instrumental interlude gives some nice breathing room for the intensity
I never heard of Klone, but I guess I should... Gives me a bit of a stoner feeling, but still is prog. I like how the chorus opens up. Have I counted right that this song is jumping between 8/8 and 6/8?
Yeah, pretty much. 😄
This is super cool! Addicting! The opening reminded me of "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress," which made it even cooler.
Ohhhhhh those vocals, oh yeah! The feels! This is big, and that chorus is vast and gorgeous! Well done, what a song!
