10 000 years couldn't make this better

Liner Notes
As always the production and the song came very easy. The lyrics were inspired by one of my old songs that had a really personal take on me being unintentionally cruel towards my enviroment. So I changed the language to english and took a slight detour.
Lyrics
10 000 years couldn't make this better we're both so fragile, still under the weather we'll taste the magic, illusion of hope we're been here before, we know how to cope
We pay the price for the better or worse push the envelope, across the table negotiate when we're not able cross all the borders, lost the patience to change
Circle the wagons, get ready for more wolfs at the gates, you need to guard what is yours
// Come, It's only over when we say it is done heart on your sleeve and I'm holding a gun you wave your hand and moment is gone heart on my sleeve and I'm still feeling numb //
We left the air thin and quiet still something to fight for and fight over the door is open but we can't really stay or leave so much to do, but I'm not really here
There's still these days of clarity some moments of hope but I'm done looking through the windowpane you are really there but I'm not here to stay
// Stay, It's only over when we say it is done heart on your sleeve and I'm holding a gun you wave your hand and moment is gone heart on my sleeve and I'm still feeling dumb //

Dang this is huge. I’m so used to my tiiiiiiny lil song world —- it astonishes me anyone can make things this big at all, let alone with tome constraints. I love that last chorus so much.
Excellent as always! Really powerful and uplifting!
ummm whaaaat, this is soooooooo goooooood! what a thick and rich song, soaked in emotion. lovely guitar work and a solid composition. i shall gaze upon the stars while i listen back ᯓ★
Perfection is indeed the enemy of good. I'm sorry to not vibe so much with your taste for big production, but I bet fans of the aesthetic dig it. The story of too-familiar lovers should resonate well with listeners with a decent amount of life experience. "We left the air thin and quiet / something to fight for and over" is especially nice. If I can risk a small critique, I feel like your lyricism would be stronger if you tamed your adverbs a bit, and found ways to twist clichés into phrases unique to you.
Critique is more than welcome! I'd rather have something to build on rather than praises. English really isn't my emotional or preferred writing language, but it's hard to get feedback on Finnish lyrics so it's a double sided edge that one. Lyrics are more of an afterthought for me anyway, but I'll take any tips you (or anyone) have to offer! Thanks for your feedback!
I think it's all been said, so I'll just enjoy the magic and tip my hat. I really like the guitar line that snakes through this lovely sonic atmosphere. Chorus is pretty damned catchy too
Came here from the recommendation thread too, so glad I did. Great sound, loved the distortion on the guitars and how you worked them into the texture under the verse. The softer verse followed by the fuller chorus was great, showed two sides of your voice that complemented the mood. I will have to come back and listen to this again soon!
Beautiful sad big sound. Lovely.
The lyrics really match the mood set by the music and vocals. Love those guitars and the distortion
Oh this is sublime! great production - so many elements to it I can hear in the headphones. Im always in AWE of you guys who can do such a magnificent production in such a short time. melodically its a triumph as well - the ahhh sections are so so good. fav line = still something to fight for and fight over. great juxtoposition in this and completly how life works!
This is really intense. Great dreamy soundscape with lots of beautiful little details coming together perfectly. The main melodic motif is wonderful. Excellent writing with production chops to match.
Wow, i really love it! The Devil is definitely in the details. The mix is absolutely perfect. Love the gaze vibe! Awesome.
Such a huge sound. Came here on a recommendation from @danxduran and this track did not disappoint. I love the Melodys, especially the chorus. The production is insanely great. Awesome stuff
I'm a sucker for some good shoegaze and this is some GOOD shoegaze! Love it, amazing work 👍
I'm digging the atmospheric vibe of this. Good lyrics too – that last chorus hits especially hard.
So good! Amazing production for a song that feels like it belongs to a movie or my formative years -- hits like home.
So much happening and it all just comes together. The composition, arrangement, theme, sounds, everything. Tehtaan takuulla.
This is so BIG and beautiful. Love love. The melody is well done and goes well with your lyrics. NICE.
Im always happy and impressed to hear your production. What a great wall of dreamy guitars. The ahs are a sing along. Album, when?
You have no idea what it is like sitting here on the beach in Gokarna having my morning coffee and listening to this song. Mindblowing. Thanks 🙏 Massive production with such clever guitars all over the field. The lyrics are great going between inside and outside. Well done Kembole.
woo hoo big production lifts off from note 1. everything is nicely in its right place. A real earful of music to listen to, my ears were buzzing in the phones. Great listen
Epic sound - love to know what guitar setup you've got going on. I'm trying to place what band this reminds me of - it's just escaping me for the moment. A bit of Secret Machines in there, some Straitjacket Fits, and... nope. I'll have to get back to you. Love it though.
Thanks! I'm mostly looking at Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine. Playing a stratocaster, using a lot of whammy bar. I'm splitting the guitar signal into a mega Left overdrive (UAD Enigmatig (Dumble Overdrive Special) - Flanger, Overdrive, Reverb, Compressor) Left Clean: Neural DSP Tone King, Right overdrive Dream 65 (Fender Deluxe Reverb)(same stuff), Right Clean: UAD Showtime '64 (Fender Showman)
A few clean guitars, acoustic guitars and megafuzzy and raw leads.
I have they UAD guitar stuff but never got it sounding like this! Nice work
Love this, the chorus sounds absolutely massive, beautiful guitar tones and harmonies too
Nice work, the song has great bones. Has a kind of effortless feel and flow that I like.
Big huge production! Interesting lyrical concept. Sometimes a great song comes from love gone bad.. well.. a lot of times actually 😊
That opening ahhh phrase is really lovely, and the way it kicks back in as a chorus type refrain is brilliant. I really like the way the guitar line wanders around through the verse. Fantastic harmonic diversion on ' you need to guard'. The dreamy feel you have achieved is really intense and captivating. Great song.
I love shoegaze and I know that it's not that easy to get right. But you not only got the sound down, you crafted a fabulous melody. What a great song, it sounds like something I'd spend actual money on.
