Belfast born, raised in trouble times. Learned to play guitar to ease my worried mind. Moved to England in 1974 and played covers for fun in folk clubs, pubs and open mics. I wrote 4 songs in the 1980s and maybe 3 in the 90s. Found it hard going and thought I was not talented enough to be a songwriter. In 2016 a friend asked me play a support spot at one his gigs. I played 6 original songs - first time I'd ever done that and I really got the bug that day. Now I spend a lot of time developing my songwriting, playing and singing skills. I am a regular performer in and around Leicester, England and have had the chance to develop some tasty collaborations with other musicians.
