Skirmish: Something about You (@hmstreetteam)Liner Notes
Sisyphus pulled out a handkerchief, mopping the sweat from his brow. Then he gently patted his boulder, carressing what might count for its cheek. “Another round, baby?”
Lyrics
[Verse] Each time I think we’ve reached the peak You roll down and ruin it again My legs and arms are growing weak Filled with interminable pain
[Chorus] But something about you is giving me a thrill I’ll spend eternity pushing you up this hill Something about you keeps me going strong We’re gonna climb this crest, forever, on and on
[Verse] I hope these slides down make you whoop Though on the outside you stay mute Smile in a never-ending loop With cracks and fissures looking cute
[Chorus] Something about you makes me give my best To spend eternity pushing you toward this crest Something about you keeps me going strong We’re gonna climb this hill, forever, on and on
[Bridge] Is this a one-way feeling On a two-way ridge? Am I tumbling, reeling An imbalanced pitch?
[Chorus] Something about you makes me hang on tight I’ll spend eternity with this uphill fight Something about you keeps me going strong We’re gonna climb this hill, forever, on and on And on and on and on and on…

Wonderful! You got me sympathizing with the rock! A totally different perspective.
This is very creative and clever! Wonderful picture you’ve painted here.
This is great. My brain can only read it as a metaphor. Not sure if that's intentional or no, but works well either way.
