I'm Helen. I make #noisy #punk as well as some more #folky stuff. I am also starting my journey getting into sync licensing, for which I almost exclusively do #instrumental stuff, and love doing weird #sound_design. If tracks get signed to a library, I'll lock them down as I sign over the copyright.

I don't need people to thank me for song comments or even reciprocate. I go with a pay-it-forward kind of thing.

For avoidance of doubt, please do not add lyrics to my instrumentals unless I specify otherwise. I'm not keen on surprise collaborations.

I'm in 2 all-fawmer bands with @expendablefriend, @stewartscissor and @orinoco, and then in a 3rd band with someone who isn't a FAWMer yet, but I'm working on it.

Ok will do. The way you're talking, though, sounds like my reminder was the first you were aware of it, but the previous song was posted (and you were tagged) over a week ago. I assume you missed that, and fair enough, mistakes happen, but I don't think you should get down on the challenge or those running it because of that.

I was actively working on the track with plans to record tomorrow. I wasn't even given a fair chance to respond to the nudge yesterday before being skipped over. It feels gross. I come here for the community and collaboration and this felt opposite.

But you took a week without saying anything (1/4 of fawm) and Debs made a call. Maybe an incorrect call, but an understandable one, and when you did respond, the ball was put back in your court. If you want to get that recorded tomorrow, please do.
