Great team work. I like how you lean into this character. There’s part of me singing along and another part, saying wait that’s awful. It reminds me a little bit of how I liked to sing Short People Got No. Reason to Live to my little sister when I was nine.

love that bouncing bass line. the delivery of the rap is great. especially after the instrumental break and the treatment on the line with "exceptionalism". the delivery at times of "American boy" , with the half smirk and hopeless laugh, is so perfectly strong. i really like the outro as well, i thought re-visiting the opening verse was a smart decision, and not ending on the title hook is strong because the line is essential and distills down the whole song into four words.

the theme here is playful from the drop and the sonic space dives in head first, so the pairing is very nice. some of those rhymes are terrific chris. dorito/lambo/crypto/rambo ...truly what could be more america? the ideas here are out there, which is the point. great collab.

Chris totally nails the target with some superb punchy lines (as a big Randy Newman fan I’m always there for an unreliable narrator song). And then Adam really commits to the role - your natural genius for capturing the flow of lyrics really carries the track, makes it an excellent collab. Lovely take on the chorus too. Really enjoyed this one chaps!
