Lovely song and sentiment, Jerry...really special. You're still finding new and original ways of expression on subjects that have kept the poets and writers pretty busy over the centuries. Plus a gorgeously lush backing track...what's not to like?

A lot of songs about a guy and his truck. Never dated a guy who drove a truck - instincts kicked in. Trucks are for my stepdad and brother. My dad and uncles and I more into muscle cars. Never thought about it until now - lol!

Yes, indeed - keep writing, keep sprinting! These are excellent lyrics! And set to the sort of comfortable country vibe I grew up with and still love so much.

Love everything about this. The arrangement is fantastic! The performances are stellar. Lyrics clever and well written. Plus the harmonies, my god, the harmonies!! This is a standout song this sprint.
