Lyrics the result of rhyming until something made some sort of sense.

Lyrics

Gladys Knight is glad it's night wherever she is tonight cos she was never fond of daylight she once took a bite of a slice of daylight and spat it out cos it lacked the magic of moonlight

The sun doesn't taste as good as the moon it's too hot to swallow and a bit too light for those who prefer the darkness of midnight and the Pips were out of sight when they said Gladys Knight got it right she got it right

Gothy goodness. I love it. Reminds me of Bauhaus in a lot of ways. That phaser or flanger works particularly well. Good stuff here. 🌘

Great music--and I'm a firm Believer that lyrics don't always have to make perfect sense...just be interesting. Terrific job! ❤️

Really enjoying the crunchy swirling guitar, it's an unusual blend of effects used really well here. Great space out

What no pips! oh there they are! I feel like i was on the tarmac during lift off/ Banging beat! lovely obscure lyrics

These are great lyrics, especially lines 4-8. But the whole thing is really satisfying. Digging the groove of your track, too, with the rising and falling sounds over the strong beat.

I’m with Gladys! But it does remind me of the joke about Gladys Knight - “Glad it’s Night and the Pimps.” lol!
