Liner Notes

The last of my triptych of songs based around the notes B, C and E. This one plays a bit fast and loose with that, but it does have a moment when two riffs from the previous two songs come back and combine. Which seems to fit nicely with the "story" that might be inadvertantly running through the three songs. This one took Emperor as an inspiration. Not really sure I ticked that box, but hey, it got me started... 😉

Lyrics

As the barriers fall I feel Time thickens and blurs I feel

Behold a transformation Block computation Exponents awry Glitching causality Behold a transcendence Summoned and summoning Called and calling Broken and breaking

Hands brush past Catclysmic flow Eyes lock on distant prey

Inching to completion A machine of rust and bone Faltering steps Taken toward the dark

And the barriers fall I feel (nothing) Time rips and blurs I feel (it all)

My loss is complete My loss ends here We begin again We begin again We revive, we grow, we are without number, undefined

I wish you could listen to thisi like I did - running (with my light up vest) in the pitch black dark of the local forest. A+ intensity throughout! I loved the meditative repeats of that riff at the end. When everything quieted down, the insects and frogs were singing along…so cool!!

That sounds awesome! Glad I could help your run be spookier!

Woof, this one's heavy! This is a glorious way to wrap up this set!

Thanks so much, and thanks for joining me on this musical journey! To be honest it was exhausting doing all that in just 4 days, but I really enjoyedit and like where it took me 😁

You nailed the black metal vibe with the drums and guitars. Not sure if this is Emperor-like... I'm not that familiar with them. I'm kinda getting Hecate Enthroned vibes, actually.

Fuckin' love it. 🤘 💚

The turn around the 3/4 mark is brilliant. Really makes this a song, rather than a sketch. Pro stuff. I mean, like, an emotional turning point.

Great job!

This is really banging, you juyt sink into it and it surrounds you, love the fast rolling guitars! and the beat goes on

More lovely (insert type of rock here) rrock! I really know nothing about the genres on show here but give me more sludge (meant as a compliment in this instance!) J$

I've not listened to Emperor so I can't say, but what I can say is this rules and is a great ending to this series. BRAVO!!!! take a bow (and maybe give an encore)

Haven’t heard the two first parts yet, but the riffs work really well together! Also lyrics work really well with the theme and especially the last lyric part is really good, not knowing what trancendence brings. Great job with the grunt as well, and everything else as well!
