In a long-ago lifetime I used to work for a furniture maker, so that drew me to the title of this one.

Really heartfelt story of growing up in tough circumstances, and it really hits all the marks.

Years ago, I was in a writing workshop and he introduced the idea of "horses" or ideas to ride throughout the story that carry and collect depth & meaning that last beyond the story and I think you have that here with "tiny furniture." It says a lot more than just the surface image might imply.

Oh…this gets right to the feels. I don’t know if this is inspired by real events or not, but you’ve sone a beautiful job storytelling here. My heart goes out to all the little ones in this kind of situation 💔 You’ve played and sung wonderfully to hold up the story.

To paraphrase Flight of the Conchords, no I wasn’t crying, it just rained on my face… this one really tugs at the heartstrings dude. It’s excellent storytelling. Love the little step descend on the hook, which is such a strong anchor for the song btw. Hope it does well in the Songfight, and enjoy FAWMstock!
