Lyrics
I.
Live round in the chamber Grenade without a pin Like magma building up so far below the crust
A specter awakens In slumber did it dwell Arising from ruins that had fallen into dust
Ignore all the warnings Of things better left alone The weakening guardrails All the weeds are overgrown
The lessons now forgotten Ghosts of the past are free to rise Dread wraith now ascending Spreads its wings to darken all our skies
II.
Sleepwalking - complacent Unfolding history Those able to perceive it Labeled as the enemy
Corruption and power Profiting off misery Helpless souls in bondage Crying out to be set free
III.
The past is prologue At least that’s what they say I guess it’s not enough to make us truly learn
We cried to the rooftops That Never Again was now But now we’re on the precipice of watching the whole world burn
Echoes of bloodshed Reverberating across time Despair, oppression, and sorrow Not a victimless crime
Two minutes to midnight Impending doomsday rolls along Will it yet be a renewed awakening Or will it be our swan song?

That is tight musically, and rich and deep lyrically. The bass and keys are standout.
Juicy proggy goodness! It's so smooth and gorgeously constructed. Loved every second.
Dude. Love it. I'm getting Rush vibes on that intro and with the guitar tone and playing. Also with those fills on the hi hats, sounds like something Neil would do. I kinda feel like you were channeling Neil on this whole track, with those hi hat pushes and the pattern on the ride.
That change after the word "dust" is thrilling.
That section in 7! Those keys are great!
This is amazing. You put a lot into this and it shows. It has a lot of emotion. Well done!
I can't take credit for the drum loops, I just picked 'em out of the library and stacked them up on the timeline. But they nailed the feel I wanted, didn't have to edit the patterns at all save for merging an ending fill at the end of the track. Thanks for the kind comments! I'm a huge fan of Geddy and Tony Levin and Chris Squire, Rush and Yes records were my bass education in my high school days. :D
That bass sounds so damn good. Those guitars, too. The tone reminds me of the Miami Vice theme song but I have no idea why. This feels so good. Everything sounds excellent, the playing, the vocal, the production.
nice opening jam with guitar solos that evoke zappa. the lyrics are epic prog material and they flow and float with ease through present day complications. .it all comes together in the apocalyptic part 3.
I waited for epic, its an expectation now - and here it is! So cleverly all put together, Strong lyric complements this lush layered piece! really cool
This has such an epic feel with the interplay of the great guitar lines, synth layers and melodies, and driving groove. Love how the lyrics take up right up to a dystopian world while leaving a sense of hope and freedom. Great sound and wonderful vocal delivery. This is really superb!
The musical shift into ignore the warnings…omg so tasty! I love the atmosphere. Bass during breakdown section, amazing! All of these solos - organ, synth, guitar, holy moly! This is a masterpiece right here
