Hey friends, this summer has been a wild one and who knows where it will go. But I had a good idea for a song that I'll probably finish eventually. I'll post what I've got in the interim and wish you all well!

The picking pattern on those opening two chords has a bit of the flavor of "Get Together" by the Youngbloods. Nice transformation from pretty to powerful. Great lead line behind the impassioned vocals. Good loud / soft dynamics. I like the percussive chords near the end. Inspiring what you've done with a single couplet.

I‘m blown away! I love the contrast between the quieter and more energetic parts, perfectly capturing the emotions of the lyrics. Very promising!
