Saw the skirmish at the top of the hour but didn't get properly started until about halfway through...this is about 20 minutes from idea to recording, I think? Fun prompt!

Oh I like so much of what you've done here! The clever ending of the first verse, and that stepwise melody in the refrain of "oh, let me wake up, tell me it was just a scary dream" that melodic moment is really special. The ending is really cool too, and waves "Hi Nova!"

I love the rhythmic quality of the chorus. It’s hypnotic. Very hooky!

I really like the melody and the glimmer of hope in the lyrics. We share the (pretty common) image of the legs made of lead !

This is a great song! Love that chorus and your lovely melodic delivery with gorgeous vocals. You capture that uncertainty of a nightmarish state that we try to escape. Really wonderful song!
