Just every now and then Maybe when you’re feeling down Toast is what you want to eat the most

If you asked me for my favourite food on any other day It wouldn’t even make the top ten list But today it’s literally all that I can think about Like it’s the only carbohydrate that’s ever existed

You might say it’s just a phase And you would be correct Toast is not a crime

It’s not a cocaine habit Or a triple homicide I just crave bread from time to time

First off I’m sorry you’re still feeling so unwell. That cough and commentary at the end made me laugh but hugs !! think we all have our hot carb of choice, hot buttered toast certainly ranks up there. When I’m sick it’s a specific boxed Mac and cheese brand. It does bring a bit of cheer! I hope you are treating yourself to endless hot buttered toast by your cozy fire in these days💚

mmm hot buttered toast, it feels like the words themselves have the same comforting feeling as the actual hot buttered toast. Toast is not a crime!!! hehehe
