A Fawm Collaboration with @mikegtz ‪. We had fun with this, both in the storytelling and in the composition. Hope you enjoy! #collab

Mike: I thought it would be interesting to compose a song where even though your relationship is over, you still miss your partner's parents because they were really nice people and your ex is lucky to have them. Chris did a good job of rolling with this idea. We started with the chorus lines, which Chris created.

A very interesting premise for a song, good lyric write, really shows the internal emotions happening. A nice melodic - and sometimes dissonant - guitar accompaniment works well with the vocal melody.

There's so much in these lyrics, stated and left unsaid. Chris' guitar and the plaintive style really captures the resignation of the situation. Great collab guys.
