Woohoo! What a cool experience I had mixing/producing our song "Sometimes" with @ragbag (organ), @smudge (piano), @squirrelhavenstudios (bass) and @kosch (vocals and harmonica) on the #digital4track challenge! Great job everyone! Thanks to @nadine for coordinating it all! :)

I like the feeling of this being a duet between the piano and the vocal while the organ and the harmonica dance around those too and the bass rows the boat.

Oh I never heard a digital 4 track start with an organ. This could have gone everywhere and I would have not expected a piano giving a wonderful melody for the vocals. Lyrically this is very nice and happy :)

Thanks! I actually attempted a couple vocal melodies, counter to the piano, but ultimately, it seemed to make more sense, and actually be easier to just use the piano melody for the verses

Oh that organ is really fun! Love how this feels, the bouncy accompaniment is such a nice contrast with the heavier tone of the lyrics, and I love the vocals - such a smooth voice with a little bit of twang, especially that 'but sometimes' bit!
