2026 will be a bit different for me as I am in the middle of a major house renovation project. Not sure how much time I can actually devote to FAWM this year. Bummer! But I did just finish up a song as a tribute to my grandpa Ray B Fulwider

Oct 19, 1919 - Jan 31, 1993

He was a WWII Vet who fought on the front lines during the final push into Germany and was wounded in action March 26, 1945, earning The Purple Heart. He was a fun loving adventurous soul who struggled with alcoholism in his later years. He loved playing guitar and singing, was an accomplished pilot and great to spend time with. I miss him. I hope this is a fitting tribute to him…

Mark, I just listened to your song about your Grandpa Ray, it's wonderful and it's great that you're keeping his memory alive. I posted a poem / song about Grandpa last night. He was a WWI vet who fought on the front lines in the trenches in France and was also merchant marine. If you could check it out that would be great. I'd appreciate your thoughts on it.
