This definitely put some pep in my step! Who’s on the plucked bass, or is that cello? You all brought this together so masterfully. The vox melody in the chorus, to me, had some Paul McCartney influence which was delightful.
@artie I switched between plucked cello (trying to mimic an upright bass) and bowed cello.
I thought that was likely the case. It really sounded like a bass there.
Lovely track, The muted trumpet is such a great sound, the cello and uke make the whole thing dance. Very uplifting, and great mix too. Perfect song to start the day.
Dude, that flip in the pre-chorus was like a sunshiney punch in the face. I'm in. Super dope. gonna go follow @dmelbygibbons now lmao. could listen to that lilt all day, boy!
The trumpet/uke combo is worth the price of admission alone
You have an excellent crew creating wonderful music. I'm genuinely inspired.
Oh this is so fun and sweet. The high notes remind me of The Eels a little bit, resonating with sounds of care and commitment. Awesome to see that so many worked on this! It came out great.
This is so lovely! I love the changes between the different sections of the verses, also the muted trumpet and cello are amazing!
Well if this doesn't put a spring in your step, not sure what will. Beautiful concept so joyously executed. Love the arrangement and all the creative choices. I'll be cuing this one up again. Look forward to hearing more.
This is amazing! Positive, a collaboration and great playing. This is everything I love about FAWM.
Really nice harmonies here. What an uplifting song. I love it ❤️
