I've been struggling with intermittent hearing loss in my right ear this FAWM. My production and participation has suffered because of it. Murphy's law that it would happen in Feb!!

Anyway, This one's mostly finished. Just a love song about a guy who suddenly realizes he's about to let the best thing in his life slip away...

I just watched a brief video clip of an interview with Paul Simon earlier this morning and he stated that he was completely deaf in one ear--as was Brian Wilson. I worry a little about hearing loss myself, but so far so good. Great song! ❤️

Cool chord progression, and a solid groove. Sweet guitars and voices. Sharp, melodic lyrics. A total winner of a song!

The repeated chord progression fits really nicely with the rising emotions of the lyrics. Love how the steel and the dobro interact with each other in the solo breaks!

Aww, these lyrics really reached me way down deep (because I had a moment where I walked away from the best thing in my life and luckily she took me back!) Your lyrics are so well crafted and they had me rooting for this fellow immediately! Yeah, he done fucked up, but he is owning it and promising the world. And, I believe him! I love how you repeat "I've got a feeling"; that is a killer hook fer sure!

Musically I really love, Love, LOVE this song! That chord progression is terrific and matches the tone of the song so well! Great guitar playing and those drums hold it all together nicely! Oooo, and that guitar soloing just tricks this out so sweetly!

Your vocals are mighty damn fine on this one! Strong yet tender and honest! And those harmonies are so friggin' excellent! You do such nice stuff on your vocal tracks with harmony parts!

So, yeah, this is a beautiful new song and I just love, Love, LOVE it! Great work once again, my friend!

Heartfelt and honest. A reflection on a relationship. I like the backing track and the breaks. Great guitar playing and love your singing. Good harmonies.

The minor key melody conveys the repentant spirit of the narrator of this song as he tries to win his loved one back.

Oh very nice. That was such a soothing listen. Really well-put-together song.... good singing, great production, very pleasing harmonies and some sleek very-well-played guitar solos. Great stuff.
